We started Inside Forward to reach out to friends, family & fellow football fans worldwide to as due to Covid-19 we have all had those joyous occasions debating our much loved game, taken away from us. We started off writing articles and have now started to record podcasts, it's certainly been a lot of fun doing the podcasts! Jumping on video chat catching up with friends and of course discussing the football. Every episode has been fun to record, plenty of banter and some serious(ish) discussion on the latest and upcoming games. Perhaps more importantly it has ensured we have checked in with friends during this tough time caused by Covid-19 & provided social interaction and lifted spirits along the way. A particular highlight for us at Inside Forward came in episode 6, recording with a couple of friends from Malaysia, it gave us a chance to catch up which can be difficult due to the time difference and work/family responsibilities. Episode 8 Joined by friend & sport enthusiast Matt, I don't think I've met a man alike him, he has an interest in so many different sports with an equal passion and knowledge for each one. Just like man of our friends we had not seen Matt in some time so it was great to catch up! Yes, we had to have a beer as the occasion deserved so. We ran through the CL Qualification quickly, sharing a quick giggle at Utd crashing into Europa League as we are all Liverpool fans. Then ran through the upcoming weekend premier league fixtures. The big talking points were:
- Attack V Defence At Elland Road this weekend. - Man City Derby! - Pep rotation killing Fantasy Managers across the globe. - Everton missing fullbacks causing big problems. - Ings back amongst the goals. - Can Zaha inspire Palace Against Spurs? - Arteta's job on the line?
